Prive Safari organizes individual adventurous classic tent safari's in Tanzania
and the southern part of Kenya. This is the Safari hart of
Africa with the famous Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Masai Mara where you can discover the double Big 5:
- lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo
and leopard but also:
- the Kilimanjaro, the wildebeest
and zebra Great Migration,
the Ngorongoro Crater,

Prive Safari is a travel agency in the Netherlands, founder
and co-owner of the
tour operator in Arusha, the safari capital in the northern part
of Tanzania. Therefore we have very short operational lines for
the organization of your tailor-made safari. The tour operator has a full Tourist agent
class-A license and is member of the Tanzania Organization of Tour Operators.
By specializing in the northern part of Tanzania, Zanzibar
and the southern part of Kenya, we know by own experience
which routes, parks and lodges to suggest for your safari. We
prepare a tailor-made proposal, detailed with maps and photo
material, enabling you to make a good decision on your safari of
a lifetime.

preparation well in advance of the actual journey to the
magnificent Hart of Africa.

What is a prive safari?
A tent safari away from the beaten track, where you and your English
speaking Tanzanian guide still can discover the exiting national
parks in an
"Out of Africa" atmosphere.
This is different from a safari which you only book for the
two of you or for your family. The guide and organization need
to experienced to have you enjoy your safari in as much
flexibility as is possible.
The great Serengeti migration.
Unique with Prive Safari is the way we allow you to follow
the Great Migration . You travel
with the same
crew through the
Serengeti
in Tanzania and the Masai Mara in Kenya, enabling you always
to include a visit to the 1.500.000 large herds in your safari.
If you decide to stay some time longer in the Mara or any other
place you are free to do so.

A tailor-made safari.
Your safari is tailor-made to your whishes and groupsize and
can consist of a wildlife safari,
Kilimanjaro climb, stay with a
Maasai tribe, a visit to the quit
and secret
East coast or the islands
Pemba and
Zanzibar, or any combinations of
these. All elements of your journey are linked together by us so
that you will be in caring hands from the start of your journey
till your home coming.
Because all our safaris are tailor-made, they are very suited
if you have requirements for spotting specific wildlife,
small groups or families with
children but also for honeymoon journeys.
As with a classic safari, you travel with your own company, in a
4WD Landrover or Landcruiser
with a private guide, a private cook and
a tent assistant, not hand coved by fixed hotel
reservations, but discovering the wildlife and the beautiful
country in an "Out of Africa" atmosphere. Off course you are
free to choose your day time schedule.
The equipment which we take on safaris enables you to stay at
special campsites, campsites in
a National Park in the middle of the bush. You only need to allow us
some months in advance to make reservations with the Tanzania Park
Organization.
You stay in classic safari tents in the national
parks.
You stay in fully equipped classic safari tents
with shower and toilet tent and will be spoiled by the
private cook. The tent assistant puts
up the tents and makes camp. You overnight at
Established Campsites or
Special campsites inside the National Parks.
Staying inside the parks has the big advantage that you can make early
morning game drives without having to wait till the park gate opens.
Mornings are the best time to spot wildlife and enjoy the beauty of
the parks.
